Since childhood, Rodrigo Teaser has shown exceptional artistic talent. For a child born in the early 1980s, during the explosion of POP culture, it couldn’t have been any different. At just 9 years old, Rodrigo was already capturing people’s attention by performing as the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

A composer, singer, and dancer, Rodrigo is one of the artists who help keep Michael Jackson alive in the hearts of fans. His love and dedication to Michael’s legacy have made him one of the most respected professionals in this field. His talent led him to work with LaVelle Smith Jr., who was Michael Jackson’s dancer and choreographer for many years. Today, LaVelle directs Rodrigo in the Michael Lives Forever show, ensuring authenticity and quality in every performance.

LaVelle Smith is not the only member of Michael’s original team Rodrigo has worked with. In a recent tour, Jennifer Batten, Michael Jackson’s former guitarist, joined Rodrigo and LaVelle in a series of performances that sold out every venue they played. This emotional tribute marking 10 years since Michael’s passing was later released as a DVD.
In addition, Kevin Dorsey, Michael Jackson’s vocal director for the Bad and Dangerous tours, also recognizes and supports the show.

The Michael Lives Forever show features major classics such as “Billie Jean,” “Thriller,” “Beat It,” “Smooth Criminal,” “Black or White,” among others. What many people don’t know is that all the songs are performed live, by Rodrigo himself. Recognized by Sony Music as an official interpreter, Rodrigo now leads the largest Michael Jackson tribute show in the world, recreating with precision the choreography, costumes, and effects of Michael’s original concerts.

Raising the standard with each performance, Rodrigo has appeared twice in the same edition of Rock in Rio, something unprecedented for a tribute show. He was also the only Brazilian invited to participate in the DNY Mesta Kladna Festival in the Czech Republic, performing for an audience of about 15,000 people. In addition, he appeared on Chile’s most-watched TV show and has filled concert venues throughout Brazil and abroad.

In 2022, Rodrigo made history by bringing Michael Lives Forever to the FIFA Fan Fest during the World Cup in Qatar. Performing for an audience of 40,000 people, he delivered an unforgettable show that further solidified his position as the leading Michael Jackson tribute artist today.

Rodrigo has also shared the stage with major Brazilian artists such as Ivete Sangalo, Seu Jorge, and Claudia Leitte. In June 2021, he performed Michael Lives Forever live from the Tom Brasil stage, in a special broadcast marking 12 years since Michael Jackson’s passing.

Now, in addition to bringing Michael’s legacy to stages around the world, Rodrigo is developing new projects focused on his original music. New songs, videos, and shows are on the way — showing that the influence and lessons learned from Michael Jackson can go far beyond.
